MySafetyPlace™ follows the highest standards when it comes to your safety and security. By asking you for a Username, Password AND a MyMasterKey™, we are able to provide the maximum possible level of security. Other websites provide an electronic device for additional security to enter their site-quite a headache if you happen to lose this device. MySafetyPlace™ uses an online MyMasterKey™ that you select yourself and is unique to you. Your access to your critical data is always available to you, anytime, anywhere.

In simple terms, the MyMasterKey™ is THE key to your personal data - the key to retrieve it when you need it most.

The MyMasterKey™ is what we use to encrypt and unencrypt your data.

The MyMasterKey™ consists of 12 or more characters including at least one number and one special character (like !, @, #, $, %, ^, &,*, etc.) Our system will automatically let you know if your MyMasterKey™ is secure. Here are some examples (don’t use these!): gooutside4$!, gocardinals#1, pumpkinpie$5. You get the idea. The MyMasterKey™ unlocks your data.

What if I lose my MyMasterKey™?

MySafetyPlace™ stores your MyMasterKey™ in a special electronic vault. No one but you ever has access to all three of the things (Username, Password AND MyMasterKey™) you need to access your data in MySafetyPlace™. We understand that there is the possibility that you may lose or forget your MyMasterKey™. All is not lost if this should happen - we have secure procedures that our Encryption Specialists follow to recover it for you for a nominal fee. This allows for recovery while providing the highest possible level of security for you!

Think about a safe deposit box at a bank. They give you a key (your MyMasterKey™). They have a key too (like your Password). Couple those with your identification (your Username), and you have access. You can change the MyMasterKey™ anytime in the system without having to contact us. Once you are logged in securely, you can go to MyAccount and change it anytime you wish.
