What is MyDisasterRecoveryPlan™?

MyDisasterRecoveryPlan is a button on every page that when clicked provides you with the critical information you need in case of an emergency.  Here is how it works:

• You enter your information in the categories we've provided in MySafetyPlace™
• For each entry, you have the option to 'Add to MyDisasterRecoveryPlan™' by checking the box
• If a tragedy strikes, you simply login and hit the MyDisasterRecoveryPlan™ button
• We will immediately send you a secure email in Adobe .pdf format that contains everything you've checked.  You have access to this secure .pdf with your MyMasterKey™.
• You also have the ability to see a menu of everything you have entered and select or deselect the information you want included in the email
• Inside the email will be helpful information, contact numbers, links, etc. to help you recover from your specific loss
• You can also use this feature to send selected information to others when needed via email, viewable without having to enter your MyMasterKey™, such as your accountant, attorney, estate planner, etc.

As an example, let's say you are traveling and you lose your wallet.  Not only do you need to contact your credit card companies right away, you also need to board a plane, or show ID at a bank or other place to obtain cash or replacement credit cards.  By logging into MySafetyPlace™ with your MyMasterKey™, we can immediately send you an email with everything you need to begin to recover.  It will also have a copy of your license, passport and other documents you've stored to prove your identity.  Having those documents is critical when passing through security. 

The email will also contain information, for example, on the steps to take to protect yourself from Identity Theft.  For other disasters, such as fires, natural events, or theft, there are similar MyDisasterRecoveryPlan™ emails containing information helpful to that particular situation.  Of course, all the important documents you've stored at MySafetyPlace™ are always available, anytime, anywhere and you can view them online or have them sent to you in email.

We encourage you to log into computers only after you are certain they do not contain any spyware, malware, keylogging tools, etc.  Only use a computer you can trust when accessing your information.
